Splash Kingdom Waterpark was awarded the annual International Industry Leadership Award in a recent award ceremony held in New Orleans, Louisiana.  This accolade is awarded to a waterpark facility for setting a consistent, exceptional standard in operations, management and facility development in the water attractions industry. "The board of directors for the World Waterpark Association is proud to present this award to Splash Kingdom Waterpark for its consistent operation of a family oriented facility as well as innovation of in-park experience and staff development," said Eleatha Ezra, WWA Director of Park Development Services.
"We are extremely proud of this accomplishment and humbled by the award presented by the WWA," said Splash Kingdom President Johnny Blevins. "There were thousands of our peers from all over the world on hand at our annual symposium and it feels good to have the recognition from the industry.  However, our goal is to make sure that the families that visit our parks have that same impression."
Splash Kingdom currently has two locations.  One in Canton and one in Shreveport, Louisiana.  They are working on building two additional facilities in Texas for the 2013 season.
