Splash Kingdom is a family oriented company that owns and operates 5 seasonal waterparks in East Texas and Louisiana.  We are currently seeking an outgoing, friendly, organized individual to assist our Corporate Team be successful in sales and marketing of events at all of the different parks.  This position can be based out of any of our parks in Canton, TX, Hudson Oaks, TX, Greenville, TX, Nacogdoches, TX, or Shreveport, LA and will be tasked with bringing in additional groups/companies to enjoy multiple events within the parks.  Positions available include: Interns, Part Time, and Full Time.

 

*Organize multiple events for the summer.  Including: concerts, entertainment, group outings, sponsor / partnership management and communications.

 

*Contact potential entertainment and securing for various dates and locations

 

*Review talent entries and narrowing down to solid candidates that fit the goals and needs of the event.

 

*Schedule events with meticulous detail and communication with appropriate parties.

 

*Communicate with and support corporate sponsors to maintain and improve partner relationships

 

*Contact appropriate groups, churches, organizations, companies and individuals for sales opportunities to assist in filling the events (group sales calls to make events as full as possible)

 

*Assist President and park GM’s with organization, detail, and information related to sales, events, marketing and sponsorships

 

Must be:

  • At least 18 years old 
  • Extremely organized
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willing to research, cold call, follow up on leads for any potential group business, corporate partners, entertainment, etc.
  • Positive, self-starter

 

Sales/Marketing prior experience, education, and/or combination of both is desired.  This position has potential to grow from a full time seasonal position into more depending on the individual and the overall success of the position.  Base hourly rate plus commission on all sales brought in and closed by the employee.  Please be sure to attach a resume with all relevant experience and best contact email/phone number to set up an interview.
